DEF LEPPARD Singer To Appear On ALEX HARVEY Tribute

June 23, 2003

According to last week's U.K. Sunday Mail newspaper, DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott has been invited to take part in an upcoming Alex Harvey tribute album. The CD, which is due later in the year, will feature THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND accompanied by a host of singers such as Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, punk icon Johnny Rotten, and Ian Astbury of THE CULT. No further information is available at this time.

In other news, DEF LEPPARD's No. 1 hit "Love Bites" has been covered by the American dance act QED. The track is the first single off their new album and can be heard at their web site. QED had a No. 1 Billboard dance single last April via a reworked version of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful".
